Foot Massagers
There is a wide array of foot massagers available on the marketplace. Some of them involve heat, others involve water. Some have vibrating massaging mechanisms, and then there are the massagers that are completely manual and don’t move on their own - welcome to the vast world of foot massagers!
Firstly there are the foot bath water massagers. These foot massage tools are like mini hot tubs for your feet, complete with heated, bubbling jet action and massaging foot pads. The massaging pads and rollers are placed at the bottom of the baths and provide your feet with an invigorating massage.
There are types of foot boots, shoes and even massage sandals that have foot massaging abilities. Your feet slide into these oversized fleecy boots and then you turn on the massage mechanism. Massage boots usually come with varying levels of heat and massage functions that are adjustable for your own personal comfort. The lining of the massage boots are removable and machine washable and they come with a long cord for mobility.
Foot massagers also come in a pillow form, where you simply lay your feet across the massaging platform. These foot massagers are covered in a soft, non slip fabric and are filled with micro beads for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The massage is delivered by vibrating motors that are underneath the top layer of the massager. They are easy to use - all you have to do is plug them in.
Other foot massagers specialize in massaging the feet as well as the calves and ankles.
With these types of massagers you slip your feet and calves down into the machine so that the massage is delivered to the bottom of your feet, as well as the backs and sides of your calves. The massage mechanism uses a technique of vibration and strong kneading actions to relieve tired, sore muscles. They are designed to stimulate the acupressure points of the feet for an invigorating experience. The pressure nodes of the foot massager can be adjusted to different settings of kneading massage and vibration modes. Some of these massage features are so amazing that they feel like the hands of an actual massage therapist.
Finally there are the more traditional foot massagers. These ones have no batteries, are not plugged in, and have no vibrating massage mechanism. They are based on the concept of acupressure and release. By simply rolling your feet over them, they stimulate the acupressure points on the foot which in turn triggers relaxation and relief from tired muscles. These massagers are composed of a series of horizontal, ribbed rollers that are either made out of word or some kind of soft rubber. Some of the rubber ones are covered in many tiny nubs for acupressure stimulation. They are lightweight, portable devices than can be used to provide a quick stimulating foot massage, and they are also much more affordable than large vibrating foot massaging machines.
As you can see, there is quite the variety of foot massagers to choose from, making it easy to find one that appeals to your individual tastes and needs.
