Aromatherapy and Body wraps

Question:

I have been getting a therapeutic massage every week for three years. I have a shoulder injury that is ongoing. I was wondering if there is such a thing as a certificate for body wraps and treatments or aromatherapy. If possible, I would like to study as much at home. I currently have my own retail business in Western Nebraska. There is nothing around here to allow what I would like to do. I have taught aerobics and was a certified personal trainer for over 23 years. We would like to move to Utah or Colorado. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer:

Aromatherapy involves a massage treatment using oil that has been blended with the essence of a plant. The essences themselves are a little oily, very fragrant, and usually too concentrated to be used neat. Essential oils are usually blended with a carrier oil, such as jojoba or grape seed oil. The different essential oils' fragrance plays an important part in therapeutically treating emotional disorders through the olfactory glands. Aromatherapy is helpful in relieving stress, fluid retention, sleeping disorders and anxiety, and helps enhance health and appearance.

The study of Aromatherapy can be done at home, as there are several home study courses available. Beforehand, you may want to check the requirements of the state you will be moving to before entering a home study program.

Body wraps can be found in aesthetic, cosmetology and massage therapy courses. Certification depends on the state you are living in, and weekend courses may be available. Browse this website, check the search options for body wraps or even inquire with the school of Aromatherapy you choose.

And continue with your massage care - you may increase the benefits with aromatherapy as well!
