A Rewarding Career

Question:

I am a student at CDI College studying massage therapy. I am really interested in taking this course and I am excited about starting my new career once I graduate. I have been getting a lot of flack from "friends" about massage therapy in that it is not a very good thing to get into for various reasons. I find that I am getting really discouraged because of the negativity that I am getting from these people and I am wondering if I should continue on. What are really the personal rewards you get from being a massage therapist, and does it pay well?
